HU Excellency the Coventor (Lord Islington) has signified his intention of attending the Premier picnic at Motutapu to-morrow. The Premier (Kt. Hon. Sir. J. G. Ward), the Leader of the Opber of members oi Pariiamest are also expected to be present. Steamers will run as usual from wayside ports, and oursioßists from Auckland. A good programme of sports has been arranged by the committee, and the usual large attendance of members of Friendly Societies m expected.
