A pleasing ceremony took place at 'Messrs Upton and: Go's establishment, ■when Mr. J. S. At»rr, an employee, -was the recipient of a handsome silver ooffee service from the £im, and a handsome marble clock, suitably inscribed, from the employees. Mr. Moore, who made the presentation spoke on eulogistic terms of Mr. Marrt abSlrty and general 'character, and extended to him the best wishes of his fellow employees. For some time recently letters were not delivered at the Victorian town of Tooradin. A swarm of bees had taken possession of th* letter-box, and they held it up better than a strike.
