At a Special Meeting of the Karaka Road Board on February 17, 1912, a Special -Order was passed making a Special Rate of id in the £ on the capital value of all the ratable property In the district, as security for the Loan of £6OOO authorised by a poll of the ratepayers on December 22, 1911. Such Special Rate was made in accordance with Section 17 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, lflOfl," and will be coofirmed at the next Ordinary Meeting of the Board, on March 16th, 1912. HBDLEY E. The Eden Terrace Road Board hereby gives notice that a Special Meeting of thesaid Board held at Eden Terrace on TUESDAY, the sth day or March. 1912, the following Resolution--was passed:— In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested In it in that behalf 1% "The PnMlc Health Act," 1906," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and of every or any other power, vested in It, the Eden Terrace Road Board hereby resolves.; as follows: — 1. That the Eden Terrace Road Board undertake the construction, of drainage works and additions and improvements to the existing drainage works in the Eden Terrace- Road District, and that for such purposes the Eden Terrace Road Board borrow tho- sum- of £3300. 2.
