SERVANTS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLTNTGJTON, Tuesday. The Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants' Conference was continued today in Wellington. The question of the interval between the conferences was discussed, and a decision to abandon the biennial principle was arrived at. substituting a triennial gathering of the same representative character. Mr. W. T. Wilson (Palmerston North) wu elected president for the ensuing three years, and the following were appointed to constitute the executive council for the same period:—.North Island: Traffic department, D. Dwyer; maintenance, L. Gexaghty; workshop J. H. Whitburn; locomotive, A. Whisker. South Island: Traffic department, P. Gaines; workshops, J. S. Barnett; maintenance, E. J. Dash; locomotive, F. Hutshms.
