There was fierce fighting at Derna, frequently at dose quarters, all Sunday. The Italians, by repeated bayonet charges, repelled the Turks and Arabs. The latter attempted a flanking movement, which was frustrated by a timely reinforce* ment. The Italians’ casualties numbered 150, but the Turkish losses are unknown. ITALY'S APHTHA I. Admiral Aubry, who has acted as naval Commander-in-chief since the early stages of the war in Tripoli, died suddenly aboard his flagship, the Vittorio Emmanuels, to-day. An Italian torpedo boat yesterday bombarded the Sheik Said forts, on the Arabian coast of the Red Sea.
