A POINT BLANK REFUSAL.
EIGHT HOURS OH RAILWAYS. (Received 0.40 sun.) SYDNEY, this day. The Government'* request to the Railway Commissioner for an eight-hour day met with a point blank refusal. Cabinet discussed the position, without coming to a definite decision.
