CAMBRIDGE SPRING FLOWER SHOW.

CAMBRIDGE, Saturday. The above show was held in the Town Hall, Cambridge, yesterday, and It will be continued to-morrow. It Is held under (he auspices of the Cambridge Presbyterian Church, and a sain of woTk is being held •with It. This has been r.be custom fur several years, but a« .the llower show Is continually increasing in size, space for the •work stalls becomes more restricted, and very probably this will be the Inst occasion on which the two functions will be held to-g-ether. The Judges who made the awards were Mrs Dr. Douglas, of Hamilton, and Mr A. E. Grlnrod, of Auckland. The former judged the decorative classes, and the latter did the cut 'blooms and pot plants. Roberts and ,T Sharp; refreshments, Mrs. 11. Ferguson and assistants: post office and fish pond. Junior Bible Class. The blooms exhibited were a distinct advance on those of last year and the champion bloom, "Victoria," shown by Miss Perkins, was a very handsome one. The function was opened by the Mayor, Mr. G. Dickenson, and Mr. Grlnrod then gave a short address on the daffodil.
