CORNER IN RADIUM.
(Received 9.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Dr. Douglas Mawson declares that the world's radium market is controlled by an American syndicate, a representative of which called upon him in reference to his discovery in South Australia with the object of obtaining control in order to prevent a reduction in price.
