m RESULT OF STREET COLLECTION. ABOUT £3OO REALISED. The amount realised in connection with the Auckland Ladies' Benevolent Society's street collection on Saturday wad about £3OO. The organisers of the collection will no doubt feel somewhat disappointed at the smailneas of the amount collected, as it was anticipated that at least £SOO would be added to the Society's funds. In addition some 200 ladies assisted. Cheques for £5 5/ and £5 respectively were received from Sir J. 1 Logan Campbell and Mrs. A. M. Myers.
