A slight correction should be made in our report (printed elsewhere) of a meeting of local bodies held at Ellerslie last evening to consider the ManukauTamaki canal scheme. One sentence of Mr J. Rtzpatrick's resolution, which -was adopted, should read: "And that the Auckland Harbour Board mil co-operate with the local bodies having control of the Tamaki and Maegere Bridges, for this purpose, and with the Waiuku district authorities for a similar embankment and lock at The Needles, thus making the complete system." The meeting was concerned as much with the Minokau as with the Tamaki portion of tie scheme.
