SOUTH AUCKLAND TOURNAMENT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday. Yesterday was the concluding day of the ladies' golf tournament, the weather, although threatening, remaining fine. Play In some individual cases was of a very high order of merit, and honours were evenly divided between representatives of the local and visiting clubs. Mr R. Mutr very kindly carried out the secretarial duties. Ladies' Championship.—Semi-final: Miss K. Willis beat MJss Lundon, 3 up and 1 to play. Miss G. Gorrie beat Miss Pierce, T up and 6to play. In the final Miss Gorrie scored an easy win against Miss K. Willis by 7 up and 6 to play. Ladles' Medal Handicap, a lB holes.—Mrs ■Bush (Paeroa), 11—21—00, winner; Miss Cummin g (Auckland), 124—29—95: Miss iMlddleton (Cambridge), 126—30—96; Mts Orowther (Rotonra), 145—40—105; Miss Pickering (Cambridge), 139—30—109; Mrs Gooch (Wathl), 134—20—114. The winner drove 163 yards against a stiff wind.
