WAIHI WARDEN'S CODRT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. In the Warden's Court to-day the following applications were dealt with:—J. W. Walker, for Waihi Golden HlUs, Nos. 1 and 4 (191 acres), recommended; T. E. Petherick, protection for the Waihi Gigantic Nos. 1 to 5, recommended. The Waihi Reefs Consolidated applied for 14 days' protection for Key West and Favona claims. Mr Jackson (for applicant) said that the company had spent £12,000 on the property, but had now come to the end of its funds. Owing to the state of the London market it was Impossible to raise further capital at present. The Warden, in grauting the application, said he would inquire into the financial matters when the application for full protection was applied for. In the case G. Arnold (WaCbi) v. T. C. Grant (Auckland), for forfeiture of the Waihi Prince and Waihi Princess chirms, forfeiture was decreed, and Arnold was declared the first applicant. judgment was given for the Receiver of Gold Revenue at Waihi for the amount of rent due and forfeiture of residence sites decreed in each case against H. Davies, G. Gray, Olive Lobb, J. T. Connolly, F. E. Tlmmins, B, Blackburn, R. Falrbairn, E. Hamilton, O. Falrbairn, C. Jamleson, E. •Snell (the latter for rent due only). Costs 16/ were granted in each case.
