Jack Evans, a swamper, from HungaHunga, was riding in TV Aroha on Friday night, when his horse fell and rolled over his rider. Kvans was removed to the Grand Hotel, where Dr. Axford found he had dislocated his shoulder and thumb besides sustaining serious cuts about the head, and injury to bin foot and knee. For a time, it was considered that the condition of tho injured man was very precarious. He was removed to the Hamilton Hospital by first train on Saturday morning.
