DEVONPORT ORPHANS' CLUB. Mr. D. W. McLean presided at the fortnightly gathering of the Devonport Orphan!!' Club, hold in the Mnsonlc Hall, Devonport. on Saturday night. An excellent programme was presented, and thoroughly enjoyed, the following items being contributed:—Descriptive selection, "A Mill In the Forest," »y the orchestra; song, "The Merry Monk," Mr. .T. \V. Atkinson (encored), and "My Old Shako"; humorous recitations. Mr. L Wood: s»ng.
