KLLERSUE BOWLING CLUB, The annual meeting of the club was held In the Parish Hall an Saturday evening last, Mr George Wilkinson, president, iu ' 'the chair. The following officers were elected for the current year:—President. Mr Geo. Wilkinson (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs M. M. iMcCallum. C. H. McKiuney, and S. Somerfield; secretary and treasurer, Mr T. N. Peek (re-elected): committee, Messrs Chatwln, I>irhy, Hewson, Jenkins. Laud, and A. McNeil: green superintendent, Mr A Hill; auditor, Mr Hugh Gerard (reelected). The President and Mr McKlnney were appointed to act as the clnb's delegates to the Auckland Provincial Bowling Association. Votes of thanks were accorded to the outgoing committee, the hon. auditor, and Mr C. Z. Clayton for his kind services as hon. solicitor. ELL.ERSL.IE SCHOOL COMMITTEE. At ito meeting on Friday last, the School Committee, on the motion of Mr T. X. Peek, unanimously approved of the medical examination of the pupils attending the public school, and considered that 6uch examination should be followed by medical treatment at the expense of the State, in all cases where the circumstances of the parents debarred them from paying for such treatment.
