I NOTTCSE Js hereby given Cist it Is Intended to Introduce during the present seson of Parliament a Local Bill, to be intituled an Act to enable the Auckland City Council to Lease and otherwise deal with part of the Auckland Electric Power Station Site, the short title of which Shall be "The Auckland Electric Power Station Site Act." The objects which such BUI la intended to effect are the following:— L To enable the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the City of Auckland to make and Kraut to the tenants and occupiers of the land lately taken by It as and now being partly used for the erection thereon of the Auckland Electric Power Station between King's Drive the Ttailway Wharf and the Auckland Hasrbonr and to the occupiers of the lands abutftlng thereon n Bight of Way over part thereof. 2. To enable the said Corporation to grant registrable Leases to some of the present Lessees tenants or occupiers of parte of the said property | either in exchange for the sarnie or! other parts thereof surrendered or given up by them or in ful] or part payment of compeneation for the Injury done to them by the taking by the said Corporation of the said. land. . 3. To enable the Bald Corporation to lease the part of such land fronting! on the said King's Drive in the I same way as if it were an endow-1 ment vested In the said Co for its general purposes. NOTICE OF LOCAL BILL. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it Is the intention of the Trustees of the Reserve, called The Walkowhal Reseive, on the Manukau Harbour, to present to Parliament at its next session, commencing on the twenty-seventh of July Instant, a Local Bill to validate an agreement entered into between the Trustees of such reserve and the Mount Rosklil Road Board, for the conveyance of a portion of the said reserve to the said Board as a Public Park and Recreation Giound, and for the dedication of a portion of such reserve as a public Uigbwuy, and to confer certain powers on the said Board with regard to the land to be so conveyed. AND FURTHER to provide that the portions of such reserve to be so conveyed and dedicated shall be so conveyed and dedicated by the said Trustees notwithstanding the teims of the Crown Grant under which the same are now held, and that the said Board shall be empowered to borrow and spend certain moneys upon such park and highway, and to hold the said portion of the said land to be bo conveyed as a public recreation ground or park, to be called the Walkowhal Paik, aod that the said Board or other governing power in respect of the said park, shall have all powers conferred on the said Board by sections thirty-three and thirty-eight of "The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908," and also the rights and powers vested in the Commissioner of Crown Lands by Part Two of that Act, in respect of public domains and certain other powers as are specified in such Bill. A copy of such Bill is deposited in the Magistrate's Court, High Street, Auckland, and the Magistrate's Court, Onehunga, and is open to public Inspection. Dated the 31st day of July. lfllL BTJDDLE.
