THE MIDDLESEX COUNTY AC. held Its Annual Trial for the Coleman Trophy on Saturday, May 27th, the 150 mile course extending from Barnet to Peterborough, and back to Hatfleld. The awards were based on consistent running, . each competitor adhering as closely as possible to an average speed chosen by himself. Before starting, a test of Welwyn Hill was also taken into account, the competitors being stopped on a line, and restarted by signal. The wiuner was Mr Home, who, on a 30 h.p. Cadillac, scored 999 marks out of a possible 1000. Mr Horne, now having won three times in succession, holds the Coleman Trophy permanently. The Cadillac car has one pet habit—reliallity.
