The following A and B teams have .been chosen by Mr. J. R. C. Badham, sole selector to the Auckland Hockey Association, to practise on Saturday next in view of the forthcoming Southern tour in quest of the Shield:— A TEAM. Hallam Speight Baker Kavanagh Porter Allison Reynolds Jacobsen Mason Moore Welham. B TEAM. Allen Farquharson Jackson Richards Rowe Dickeson Hay Young Parton King Burton Emergencies: Forwards, Barry, Little; half-backs, Whittingham, Robinson; fullback, Whitley; goal, Anstiss.
