Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Epsom Uoad Board, at a Meeting to be held at the Office of the Board, Newmarket, on TUESDAY, July 11, 1911, under the provisions of Section 10S of 'The Road Boards Act, 1908," Sections 48 to 55 of "The Rating Act, 1908," Section 29 of "The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, lOOS," and Section 56 of "The Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1903," to make and levy a General Rate of Three Farthings (Jd) in the £, a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of One-sixth (l-6th) of a Penny in the £, and a Drainage Rate of One-twelfth (l-12th) of a Penny in the £ on the capital value of all ratable property in the Epsom. Road District for the period of One *ear, commencing April 1, 1911, and ending March 31, 1912, such rates to become due and payable in one sum on the 26th day of July, 1911, to the Collector, Wβ. Notice is hereby given that the Special Roll of the Ratepayers of the proposed "Tuakau Special Rating Area" is now deposited at the Office of the Board, being my residence at East Pukekohe, and will lie there for the inspection of Ratepayers for seven days from this date, June 21, 1911. All objections to the said Special Roll to be in duplicate, stating grounds of objection, must be lodged with mc at my Office aforesaid, not later than fourteen days after this date. The Special Rating Area Iβ proposed to be created for the purpose of providing Special Rates to pay interest and sinking fund on a loan of £1500, to be raised for the purpose of constructing a Road from Tuakau to Whangarata, and purposes incidental thereto, and the land comprised in such Roll is all that part of the Pukekohe East Road District, which is bounded towards the East by the eastern boundary of the said Road District,towards the South by the Waikato River, towards the West by the western boundary of the said Road District, and towards the North by a line commencing at the point where the northern boundary of Section 35 of the Parish of Pukekohe intersects the western boundary of the said district, and thence proceeding in a straight line in an easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said Section 35, to the corner of the road which is diagonally opposite the Harrisville School, thence proceeding in a northerly direction through parts or the said Section 36 along the common boundary of Wnlter Barnaby's farm, thence in an easterly direction through the said Section 36, along the northern boundary of Walter Barnaby's farm to the Harrisville Road, thence along the Harrisville Road to the northern boundary of William Reid Clark's farm, thence along the northern boundary of William Reid Clark's farm to the boundary of Section 23 of the Parish r Pukekohe, and thence In a northeasteii.. direction along the boundary of the said section to the eastern boundary of the said District.
