Congressman Babath, of Illinois, introduced into the House of Representatives a resolution demanding the IJepartment of State to inquire why only two dozen American peeresses were granted permission to attend the Coronation, the amount of money the United States had exported with these and also the number of such marriages which had proved happy. - It is unlikely that the resolution will be treated seriously. Mr. Babath says that he desires specified information to allow the country to judge to what extent it has benefited by such "trade."
