Good progress is being made with the construction of the hull of the dredge for I the Armstrong Dredging Company The I hull will be 100 ft in length, by 30ft beam, I containing some 35,000 ft of timber. It is | expected that it will be launched in about sis weeks' time, when the installation of the machinery will be proceeded with. Great interest is been tafcen in the dredge locally, it opening up a new branch, in gold mining.
