AMUSEMENTS.

'THE WANDERERS," TO-RIGHT. I At His Majesty's Theatre to-night Mr beorge Stephenson, the well-known theatrical manager, will introduce for the first time here his new musical comedy costume company, "The Wanderers." This combination comes with the highest credentials from the Southern cities, .the unanimous opinion being that it is the best all-round entertainment of Its class yet seen on a Dominion stage. The programme to be presented Includes song, story, sketches, dances, monologue, mstrumentalism and catchy duets and choruses. The comedy element Is stronger than is usual with this style of entertainment, while several novel' features will be introduced. With the exception of Miss Mercer, the popular contralto, all the other members of the company are making their first appearance here. The season is limited to six nights. The box plans are at Wildman and Arey's, and a large number of seats have already been booked. WEST'S PICTURES. Both the matinee and evening shows at the Royal Albert Hall were weU attended on Saturday, In spite of the Inclement weather. The star feature of the programme, depicting the daring deeds of Ben Hall in the Australian bush, is received with great interest. In the preparation of this film the management state that great attention has been paid to detail, and is certainly free from exaggeration, and there is nothing to wound the susceptibilities of any portion of the audience. A matinee will be given on Wednesday afternoon, when a complete change will be submitted. FULLER'S PICTURES. An excellent series of pictures will be screened at the King's Theatre this evening. Included wul be a film entitled "Wellington Day by Day," taken by Messrs Puller's operator. Other subjects will be: "In Hot Lands," "Warwick Chronicle," "Byzantine Tragedy," "Glimpses of Bird Life," "Girl in the Mountains," "The Drunkard's Reformation," "Schultz has Smallpox," "Foolshead's Lady Companion," and "Impudence Punished." OPERA. HOUSE. The attractions at the Opera House were witnessed by a large number on Saturday night, when Alexander Prince, the concertina player, was seen for the last time. Among the new turns to be seen this evening will be Lerona, the trick cyclist, and Coco, the educated chimpanzee. ROYAL RINK. Despite the weather on Saturday there was a good attendance of skaters at the Royal Rink on Saturday. The usual sessions will be held to-day. The next special attraction will be a "Rose Night," arranged for the 22nd Inst. <Coronation Day). WINDSOR RINK. The Windsor Rink is increasing in popularity, and on all occasions on Saturday the floor was crowded. Sessions will be held as usual to-day. THE GLIDEAWAX. The Glideaway Rink continues in popular favour, and all the sessions on Saturday were well attended. The floor Is in excellent condition, and skating is made a pleasure at this rink. PRINCE'S RINK. Roller skating patrons are very pleased with the new maplowood floor, and all sessions are well attended. Next Wednesday the first carnival of tie present season win taKe place.
