"WINS FOR SHOR- AND PONSONBT. Association football was played at Eden Park under difficulties. The playing grounds were more or less under water, and the play suffered in consequence, being for the most part a scramble In mud and water. In the North Shore-Corinthian match Shore had all the best of the play, showing up well under the unfavourable conditions. Their score of two goals to nil about represents the merit of the play. "Everton and Caledonian were to have played, but as so referee put ln an appearance the match was postponed. i'onsouby had all the best of the play with W.Y.M.1., and eventually -won by two goals to nil. SECOND GRADE. Brotherhood A (.5) and Gordon (3) drew Tabernacle, .'I (Gladding, Churchill, Faulks) drew with Hotspur, 3 (Lee, Ken- < nerly, .lulian). Tabernacle played one 1 man short. .Norlli Shore v. Corinthians.—North Shore I wou by 6 goals to 1. Shore's goals were i score;! by Stewart (41, Brabant (2); Rose! ecorcd for Corinthians. Corinthians played i only seven men, and Shore had a full team, I they decided to play two short. THIRD GRADE. . Mount Albert defeated Tabernacle by 6 'goals to nil. North Shore v. St. John's.-—St. John's won by _ to 1. Sin-ton scored for Shore. FOURTH GRADE. W.TJM.I. (9) beat St. John's (O). Caledonians (2) beat V.M.C.A. (1). Gordon (7) beat Tabernacle (1). North y. V.M.C.A.—North Shore won by Hk to 0, goals being scored by Colebourn (4), Stewart (3), Parker (2), W_ddlewor_h (1), Osborne (1).. FIFTH GRADE. Northcote (2) beat •Church of Christ (O). North Shore v. Mount Edon..—North Shore won by by 6to 1. Dacre (4), Pitts (1), and Brown (1) scored for Shore. HUNTLY V. HAMILTON. HAMILTON, Saturday. The Association football match, Huntly v. Hamilton Wanderers, played at Claudelandß, resulted ln a win for the former by one goal to nIL DUNEDIN". ' DUNEDIN, Saturday. In the Association championships, Roalyn, Wakare, and Raveneboume drew two goals each; Mornlngton (4) beat Southern (1); Northern (3) beat Kaltangata (1); Christian Brothers <S). beat Maori Hfll (3).
