THE IRISH ENVOYS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. The Irish envoys. Me-srs. Redmond and Donovan, had an enthusiasts meeting in the Academy Theatre last evenin". the Mayor presiding. Visitors from Paeroa and surrounding townships attended. The envoys spoke on the lines of their previous speeches. A resolution of thanks to t'lio envoys and supporting the Home Rule movement were proposed by Mr. Poland, _1.-\, seconded by Mr. Walinntt, J.P., and carried tinanimouslv. The envoys were subsequent! y entertained at supper. The local contribution to the Home Rule fund amounts to over £ 130.
