ACCIDENTS.
A man named William Winters this afternoon met with an accident while on the s.s. Ngatiawa. Winters fell down the hold, receiving serious injuries. He wr. still unconscious when admitted to the hospital at 2.30 p.m., and the full extent of his injuries had not been ascertained up till the time of goinn- to press A man named George Hyde, a resident of Summer-street, Pousonbv, fell while getting off a moving ear in Hobson-street violent contact with the road, and ho ? ? n meM »saor«s condition to Mr. Pecks' chemist shop in Customsstreet. Dr. Walker was summoned and a tender to numerous scalp wounds which the man had received. Hyde ultimately was conveyed to his home.
