DASHED TO DEATH.
AIRMEN FALL 3000 FEET. BERLIN, June 10. Another terrible catastrophe has occurred in connection with aviation. An aviator named Schendel, with a passenger named Voss, ascended at Johannesthai 6600 ft. The aviator began to descend, when the machine tilted and dropped from a height of 3000 ft. Both Schendel and Voss were terribly mangled.
JAPANESE OFFICERS' ESCAPE.
TOKIO, June 11. Captain Fokusowa and Lieutenant Ito, whilst aeroplaning, fell from their machine. Fortunately the fall was not a great one, and neither was severely injured. They are now recovering from their injuries.
