THE SCALES LINE. The s.s. Clan Ross arrived from the Thames this morning, and anchored in the stream to take in bunker coal. She sails to-morrow morning for Kaipara to finish her loading for Melbourne. The Clan Ross loaded 550,000 ft of timber at the Thames, and at Kaipara she will lift about 1.T00.000 ft. From Melbourne she proceeds to Newcastle to load coal for Fremantle, thence jarrah at Bunbury for New Zealand ports. The s.s. Clan Maclaren, now at Napier, proceeds to Dunedin and Lyttelton, and then comes on to Auckland, her final port of loading for Loudou, sailing hence direct about July 3. The s.s.
