TRICE OF BONEDUST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. A marked rise has recently taken place in the price of bouedust. It has been suggested in the South that, as regards bonedust Imported here from India, this might be due to the measures taken by the New Zealand Government to ensure Its freedom from dangerous disease germs. That this Is not the case is shown by advice just received from India, which states that prices have risen all round, no matter to what country the manure Is exported, unsteamed bonedust being stated to be 36 per cent higher In value than at the corresponding period of last year, while bonedust steamed, as required by the New Zealand Government, is only 25 per cent higher. The prices in Sydney are stated to have lately risen by nearly £1 per ton. and this no doubt is in sympathy with the rise in value which, has taken place in India.
