(By Correspondent.) Friday. A food audience attended in the Theatre Royal last night to hear Mr. R. Hazleton, M-P. for Galway on the Home Rule question. Mr. F. Mani der M P-, occupied the chair. The en- : vov's speech was followed with the keeni est interest. At the clos? of the address i the following resolution proposed by Mr. ijj weaver, Whangarei, and seconded by, !Mr Bernard, of Okaib.au, was earned by acclamation. "That this meeting affirms the principle of self-government for Ireland on the lines demanded by the Irish Parliamentary party, and proposes a hearty vote of thanks to Mr. Hazleton for his able and instructive address.
