Mr. C. C. Kettle was occupied this morning at the S.M. Court with an affiliation ease, which has been heard at intervals on several occasions with closed doors. After having recalled the complaiptant, and heard the evidence of defendant and his witnesses, Mr. Kettle further adjourned the case until 9.30 o'clock on Monday morning. The defence wa? a denial of paternity on the part of defendant. Detective McMahon this (morning arrested an Austrian named Tony Prelenda Simich on a charge of obtaining £40 by false pretences from John Marusich.
