THE KAISER FINED.
The Kaiser, as King of Prussia, was, at Berlin, on Wednesday, April 23. ordered by a Berlin court to pay ten marks to the singer Fraulein 'Hessloehl. The latter was engaged at the Royal Opera at Wiesbaden, aud during the performance of "Tristan and Isolde" her colleague singing Isolde accused Fraulein Hessloehl, who took the part of Brangaene, of speaking to her in a way which disturbed her singing. Fraulein 'Hessloehl was fined ten marks by .the director of the 'theatre, which the Emperor, as the nominal owner of the theatre, a State institution, must now refund.
