MACKY, LOGAN AND CO.
» FORMED INTO A LIMITED COMPANY We understand that the firm of Macky, I.ogan, Caldwell and Co. just been formed into a Limited Company, with a capital of £250.000. The rapid yet substantial development of this well-known firm with its numerous factories and branches in all the principal towns in the. Dominion is another example of the energy and activity of Auckland business firms. Starting in 1882 with only two assistants, they have now nearly six hundred hands in their employment, and pay in salaries and wages considerably more than £50,000 per annum. The growth and progress of this and other Auckland firms show very plainly th» great and rapid strides of this province, especially during the last ten years, and wit.h the present bright prospects of the Pominion, the future of a well established business should be one of even greater growth and prosperity.
