LATE SHIPPING.
The s.s. Tarawera, from Dunedin, via ports, had not been reported up to the time of our going to press this afternoon. She was due a:bout noon, but has probably been detained by bad weather. The secretary of the Marine Department Wellington, has received advice from the Department of Navigation at Sydney thaf the dredge Hunter is working on the Newcastle bar. Masters are notified accordingly.
