DAIRY EXPORT FOR LONDON.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCR, this day. The Hon. T. Mackenzie states that the Department of Agriculture has decided to send a dairy produce expert to London to look after the interests of the New Zealand producers. This has been done in consequence of the action of the home buyers, who had agreed together that they would not accept the grading at this end, but would fix prices in accordance with the pronouncements of their own arbitrators. Several shipments hacj arrived in London in a "fishy" condition, which he understood was due to lack of attention in some of the larger factories, but that had been entirely rectified now, and the produce was again up to its excellent original level, while the present season had been the best yet experienced. He would make the appointment in a few days probably, and the most expert man available would be sent. Farmers could then rely on their interests being fully protected, as the expert would judge whether there was any necessity to alter the basis of,the scale of charges fixed for shipments.
