ALBANIAN REVOLT.
A CITADEL CAPTURED. REINFORCEMENTS SENT. CONSTANTINOPLE, June 6. The Mirdites have captured the old citadel of _Alessio. Shevket Pasha has dispatched three battalions, with six guns, to the relief of Alessio. The Mirdites are attacking the Turkish troops at Zadrima, between Scutari and Alessio. WHOLESALE MASSACRES. ARTILLERY FIRE ON VILLAGES. LONDON, June 6.
An Englishman who is travelling in Albania, writes to the "Morning Post" that the Turks have been massacring villagers and burning houses at Skreli and Kostrati wholesale, and iii some cases aged and infirm peasants nave-been, incinerated. Eight insurgents, hearing a wounded man's shrieks for help, descended a hill at K.oetrati to rescue him, when the artillery were turned on them, six being killed. Two women and children were incinerated. Being Moslems, they did not consider it necessary for them to -fly, but they were mistaken for Christians.
