A DANCER'S FEAT.
Walking all the way on her toes, Mazie King, a dancer, came down the forty-five flights of stairs in the Metropolitan Life Insurance Buildings in Xew York, the other day, without stopping, making the distance in fourteen minutes. She "was accompanied by her sister and Dr. J. Z. ATDermott. The feat was watched T>y a number of people. Miss King wore a light gown cut short, J so that her feet Tvere risible. Her feet / were enclosed in the regnlatton ballet slip- f pers. It is calculated that she covered/ 2000 steps without once coming down fla/ 1 on her feet. In addition to this, on read/ ing the bottom. Miss King, made a round/ the corridor on her toes.
