A deputation of electors of Devonport. Northcote, and Birkenhead waited oq Mr C. P. Murdoch thie morning for the purpose of presenting him with a largely signed requisition, asking him to accept nomination as for a seat on the Harbour Board, as representative of the above-named combined boroughs. Mr Murdoch, in acceding to their request, stated that if elected he would do his best to forward the interests of the combined boroughs, and those of the city and port generally.
