POLO CLUB SPORTS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, Saturday. A sporte gathering was held on the show grounds this afternoon under the auspices of the Cambridge Polo Club, and interesting contests resulted In all the events. The results are: — Bending Competition.—H. Cotter 1, Innes Taylor 2. Hurdle Race, one mile. — R. Hannon's Pukeora (owner), 11.7, "1; C J. Altehlneon's Novice (Kidd), 12.7, 2; W. Taylor's Scout (H. (Crowther), 12.7, 8. Polo Ball Race.—X Banks 1, B. D. O , - Borke 2. Polo Cup, four furlonge.— J. Graham's Lady" Rep (owner), 12.7, 1; W. J. McNicol's Brownie (owner), 12.7, 2; J. H. Ctowther's Marquis (owner), 12.7, 3. Fourteen started. Ladies' Bracelet.—Ponies to" be nominated by ladles. Competitors to stand each with a man to hold his pony oAe chain distant from the ladies. On' being started competitors to run to ladies with neckties, : which are to be tied round their necks with a double bow by the ladies; then to run back to ponies, mount and gallop round one post one furlong distant, and finish.—Miss Kay's nomination, ridden by R. Kay, 1; Miss M. Taylor's nomination, ridden*by H. Crowther, 2. Tandem Race, (competitors to ride one pony and drive another).—W-Ji McNicol 1, B. Hannon 2. Polo Pony Test (round peg as committee may direct).—H. Cotter;?,-Jim Kay 2. High Jump.—C. Aitchinson's Novice (D. S, Kidd), 1; H. Crowther 2. The winner jumped sft.
