The latter, bat»s*££% S ade ,a very poor stand, and were al disposed of for 14 runs, the flret five wickets falling without scoring: Bowline for Tararu, Gordon secured three -wickets lor no runs; Bucban, jun, two for none; Peters, three for 7; Buchan, sen one for one; and Pratt, one for five. Tararu in their lnritoge 189 for six wJckete, when Btumps were drawn. Gordon 57, Coote. 45-not out, Bucban, sen., 26, and Buchaii, Jun;, =22. A win In this match will decide the championship in favour of Tarnin. c. .

Karangalhake was played on Satpr4ay at Karangahake, and resulted in a win for Walhi by four wickets and 76 runs. Karangahake were all disposed of for 24. J. Johnson took four wickets for It, and Mudfbrd five for 8. Snell (retired) 38, A. Young fretirpfl) 17. .and Mudford (not out) 23, were the principal scorers for Walhi.
