CLAPHAM COMMON MURDER.
CASE AGAINST MORRISON.
LONDON, Jannary 29.
The inquiry into the murder of the French Jew Berqn, whose body was found at Clapham Common at the beginning of the month, was continued to-day.
Eva Fitterman, the prisoner Morrison's lover, withdrew the testimony she had given a , few days before as to seeing a five-pound piece, similar to that.which Beron had-worn, in Morrison's possession. She now stated that what she saw looked like a shilling.
The magistrate is considering the question' of the woman's committal for perjury- - Layman, a cabman, testified that he drove Morrison and another man from the corner of Sydney-street to Clapham on the night of the murder.
