Mary Whittingham, meekly admitted she was guilty of another charge of drunkenness, and was fined 10/, or 48 hours; a statutory first offender was fined 5/; Mary Ann Gibbs, who was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence in October last, on a charge of being an incorrigible rogue, was remanded until Monday. Spearpoints, with a very Biniling face this morning, was evidently i having a night out last evening, and be fell into the hands of the police. This morning he was sure that iie had not been disorderly while drunk. Aecuwd went into a fish shop in New North-road about 5.30 last evening, and after asking for, and receiving, a piece of fish, wanted some chips thrown in. This request was refused, and accused then brought a policeman and threatened to knock the ' restauranteur "into Gibraltar." He was then taken to the Police Station, and wanted to assault a constable. Accused I had a further charge against him of being drunk while in charge of a horse and cart. On one charge he was convicted and discharged, and on the other fined £1, and costs. REMANDS. Henry Parker (Mr. Lundon), charged with assaulting his wife, Dinah Parker, by seizing her by the arm and threatening to cut her throat, was remanded until Monday. Bail was allowed in one surety of £50 and self in £50. Geo. Keenan, charged with assaulting Thos. Henry Danzig, at Ellerslie, was remanded until Monday, bail being allowed in a security oi £25; and Wm. Geo. Griffiths, a lad, charged with stealing two packets, of cigarettes and receiving one packet, knowing it to be stolen property, was remanded until the same date, on a bond of £10.
