Practically all the stores for the western _andin*r have been etcrwed away, and the I work of loading the stores for the east- 1 crn party and the remainder of the equipment will be finished by Saturday. s The balance of the coal supplies to be _ taken from Lyttelton will be loaded on \ Monday and Tuesday next. The officers J have been engaged for -the past fortnight in overhauling and adjusting the com- t passes, theodolites, and other instru- ' ments. The vessel will be practically Teady . for sea on Wednesday next, and the 8 whole of the members of tite expedition !j will have their goods and chattels on board by then. On Saturday, 26th inst., 1 at four" p.m., the Terra Nova will cast '> off from the wharf, and steam out of • Lvtterton '"southward bound." h r
