NEW COtTBSnTG CLUB. CONTROL OF MOTOR. TRAFFIC, (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. A meeting of coursing enthusiasts decided to form a South Auckland Coursing Club, with headquarters in! Hamilton. Officers were appointed for the coming year. A meeting of representatives of Waipa, Matamata, Waikato, Piako, and Raglan County Councils, Cambridge Borough, and Kirikiriroa Road Board, decided to communicate with the Government by petition in order that it might enact regulations controlling motor traffic throughout the Dominion.
In connection with the World's Alliance of the Young Men's Christian Associations, a combined meeting of the Y.W.C.A. and V.M.C.A. was.held in the social hall of the Young Men's rooms last evening. . There was a good attendance, and a very spirited meeting was held. The subject for the evening was "Asia." The general secretary of the V.M.C.A. (the leader for this meeting) introduced the subject. To-night Mr.P. E. de Ridd'er will be the leader, and "Australasia" will be the subject. Oα Friday evening "Europe" will be the special subject for prayer, and the Key. W.
