POULTRY RAISERS' CONFERENCE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Poultry Kaisers' Conference resumed to-day, •when Mr. T. H. Rirtherftnd {Masterton) read a. paper, in which be urged that if egg circles were formed all over the Dominion, and they worked in unison, the time -would, not be far distant ■when an almost uniform price would be obtained for eggs all the year round. He suggested that the .Minister for E&flways should be asked to reduce railway dharges on eggs and poultry. He advocated a system of regulating .prices, and pointed out that if one purchased a fowl from a ponlterer, lie paid according to its size and •weight. "Why not the same rule for eg&? He suggested that eggs ehould 'be graded as follows:—First grade, 2oz. or over; Beoond grade, ljoz. to 20z.; third grade, all under lsoz.; and toai the price be regulated:, accordingly.
