TREATMENT OF CHINESE.
(Received 11.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. The departing Chinese Consul-General left a memorandum, in which he asks Australia to observe the treaty between China and America regarding immigration, and also asks for better treatment for the Chinese already here.
