AQUATICS.
OPENING OF YACHTWQ SEASON. The first yacht racing of the season will •take place to-morrow, when the Ponsonby Cruising Club and the Victoria Cruising Club will hold cruising races. The Ponsonby Club has arranged races for yachts and launches. The yacht race will be over tne following course:—From off the; club-house, round Motutapu island, finishing in Station Bay between the yacht Heartsease and dinghy. The entries are: Alma, Glady, Foam, Waitangi, Mistletoe. The, course for the launch race will be from the! club-house to Station Bay direct, and the entries are Maxoro, Slarore, Tfahsome, Loys and Thmahine. The yachts will be sentl away at 2.45 p.m., and the launches at 8 p.m.
