RIFLE SHOOTING.
A SQUADRON A-M.B. The members of tbe "A" squadron, First A.M.E., continued their shooting competitions on Saturday, the "A" class firing the final stage of the "N.Z. Herald's" trophy, and the "B" class a mateli for the aggregate medal. A strong right wind was blowing across the range, making good shooting very difficult. Some good scores were put on, however, notably that of Lieutenant ElUngham's 44 at 600 yds In the "A", class, and Trooper Laing's 25 out of possible 35 ln the "B'' class at 700 yds. In the "A" class, Sergeant Wheeler succeeded in winning the trophy, with an aggregate score of 173; Corp. J. F. Potter was next, with 170.
