There were 102 birds sent, representing 14 lofts. These biids were, liberated by the station master at 10.30 a.m., and the winning bird arrived nt its destination at 1-52 p.m., completing the journey in. 3hrs. 22 mln. TnV following is the result:— 1 H. Thbrriton's blue eheq. lien (Gipsy), 123Sytls .per niln.; H. Stowcll's blue cherj. hen (Constance), 1237 yds per mm.; E. Martii's blue cbeq. lien (SieWauid Quesn), 1234 yds per mln.; P. Hay's black hen (Waihine), 1220 yds per into.; H. Cowsill's blue cheq. cock. (Successful II.), ia2syds ncr mln.; A. Hill's, red cheq. hen (Redwing). 1224 yds. per mln. The'" rest of the competitors' birds were close up. Next week the club, will hold a classical race from Palmerston North, a tdistance of 245 miles, for birds bred in the
season 1900-10. The club expect'a btg en/try, as there is much interest taken In this race by the members.
