THE SLAUGHTERMEN'S STRIKE.
SYDNEY, August 26. The • carcase butchers have offered a settlement of the dispute with the men in the shape of an agreement similar to that between the Riverstone Meat Company and the Slaughtermen's Union. The latter are considering the matter.
