REMUERA CLUB'S ANNUAL MEET-

The annual mcetiug of the Remuera Bowling ciub was held in the club pavilion last night, a good gathering of members ■being presided over by Mr A. B. Robertou (President).

lhe annual report referred to the continued prosperity of the club, and to the p.easurable and successful nature of tile first seasons operations. The club membership was shown to be J2S playing and 23 honorary members, tbe loss by death during the year of the lute Mr J. H. M Carpenter, hon. member, being the subject of fecliug reference. The balance-sheet showed that the financial position of the club was exceedingly healthy. l„ moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet the President congratulated members on the success of the past season, ami ou the Dleasaut aspect of ..he financial situation. Both report and balance-sheet were adorned.

Messrs J. Scott, W. Fritter, C. Spooner, J. Paterson (skip): Murdoch cup. Mr D E Clerk, runner-up Mr D. Long: Finla'vstm trophy, 'Rev. King Davis and Mr A. Iliiiniltou: lir&t-yenr's players. A. G. Graham 1, D. Long 2; championship, Mr G. Wilkinson.

The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr W. D. McLean- vicepresidents. Messrs T. Flnlayson. Chas Hanson. A.
